Learn how to extend the life of beloved textiles and keep your clothes out of the landfill.  This free workshop will introduce participants to several techniques for mending clothing and repairing textiles by hand, using simple tools.  We will cover (mostly) invisible repairs and creative visible mending techniques for patching wovens and darning knits.  Participants are welcome to bring an item from home that needs repair or practice on provided samples.  Everyone is welcome, no experience necessary.  All materials and tools provided.
